Oceania Cruise Ship Fire Claims 3 Lives

It has been reported that a fire broke out in the engine room of an Oceania ship while docked in Port Castries St. Lucia.  No passengers were hurt, however, three contractors and two crew members were taken to a hospital. Sadly, three of those injured did not survive.

STX France to Build Two New Celebrity Cruise Line Ships

“Project Edge” has been announced by STX France as Celebrity Cruises ordered two new ships.   The expected delivery date is fall 2018 for the first ship and early 2020. Tonnage: 117,000 and Berth: 2,900 passengers.
