    Cruising Christmas week on the Carnival Holiday. Departure 12/20/08 from Mobile, AL. Destination, Progreso & Cozumel. Who else will be going? :D

    That sounds like a fun cruise, have you done a Christmas cruise before?

    No, this our 1st cruise ever, so we’re hoping it will even more special by going at Christmas.

    That sounds like a lot of fun! I am sure it will be very special! :) You’ll have to tell us how it us goes. BTW Bring a jacket because it can be very cold at night.

    We did a cruise from Dec 29, 2007 to January 5, 2008 last year and the Christmas decorations were still up, plus they had added New Year’s stuff and it was wonderful. It was nice and cool most of the trip, but not too cold.

    We were going to do a submarine trip in Cozumel, and it looked great. But, a front had come through and it was extremely wavy so it was canceled. Usually Cozumel is not like that from what I understand unless there is a hurricane or something, so I am sure it will be great. (I attached a picture of what it looked like, it was wild, and yet beautiful there the day we were there. Quite cool, but I imagine completely different than a summer day. I liked the variety.)

    I haven’t been on the Carnival Holiday yet, but it would be great to see some pictures and hear about it when you return. Are you leaving from Mobile? Is this the Cozumel, Calica, Mobile itinerary or something different?

    Our itinerary was Key West, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, and the Bahamas with 2 days at sea in there. Very relaxing.

    We haven’t done a Christmas cruise yet, but that is something I would like to do at some point.

    I was on the Disney Magic ‘s 7 day cruise from December 29 ,2007 to January 5,2008 last year. It had all the same ports as "Chris"s cruise. It was truly an amazing trip! I would LOVE to go on a week again or a 2 week cruise sometime very soon!

    I want to do a longer cruise again, but it won’t be until next summer as far as I can figure right now.
