The Disney Magic is made its eastbound Panama Canal crossing yesterday and so is back in the Caribbean. Consequently, given the location of Hurricane Gustav, it will be interesting to see what, if any, changes the Disney Magic makes to avoid encountering Hurricane Gustav.

It looks like the Magic did manage to avoid most of the impacts from Hurricane Gustav and not has a special 5 night Bahamian cruise September 1-6, 2008 prior to entering dry dock. So, by the middle of next week, the Disney Magic (and Disney Wonder) could have to alter itineraries to avoid Tropical Storm Hannah/Hurricane Hannah, if forecasts are right for both strength and location. We’ll keep you updated as more is known.

But you can talk about it here or at http://hurricane.com/
