During your stay on the Magic/Wonder you will not only have access to amazing shore excursions and exotic tropical paradise but, fun games and shows for the whole family! One of the most memorable things of my trip was the fantastic shows! Disney offers performances from comedians, and magicians , but also offers musicals such as Disney Dreams, and Twice Charmed. My favorite show however was Hercules which unfortunately, Disney no longer shows.
The family games Disney offers are so much fun! My ten year old sister’s favorite was Bingo (she especially loved the host, Bailey) while my personal favorite was Who Wants To Be A Mousekeeter?. Some other activities you may enjoy are Chip It Golf, A Pirate’s Life For Me, WII Olympics, and Mickey Mania!. If you can, I would DEFINITELY try ALL of the activities.

While I was on the Magic my favorite performer was the comedian/magician on board! He was hilarious! My brother and sister even got called up on stage! :D

I presume you are talking about Rich Purpura?

You can see a video clip of him here:

My second favorite performer was Ricky Kalmon, a Hypnotist.

What about Topsiders/Beach Blanket? (depending on if it is the Magic or the Wonder) :-) I know some people who’s favorite place is there.

All kidding aside, if you can be at Topsiders or Beach Blanket as the Wonder or Magic arrive at Castaway Cay, it is a great view of the island and the surrounding water if the weather cooperates. It is usually early in the morning so you won’t have a lot of company.

This is a view of Castaway from Topsiders as the Magic was pulling in, early January 2008, it was a lovely day:

My favorite thing to do was meeting Princess Belle.

Meeting Princess Belle is certainly a neat addition to the trip. Did you enjoy Bingo too? What about exploring the ports? Looking for souvenirs?

I LOVED looking for souvenirs, especially in Nassau. Exploring the ports was fun too! Especially in foregein countries such as Mexico, Grand Cayman, The Bahamas, ect. I have to say Key West was a lot of fun too. I liked BINGO on the Magic better than bingo on the Wonder though. everything was so much fun! (except Kids Camp)

You mentioned Shore Excursions; did you participate in any and if so, which ones and did you enjoy them?

Parasailing was good on Castaway Cay.

I wanted to do the submarine in Cozumel but the weather did not cooperate for any of the water based activities that day. Next summer, hopefully it will cooperate better!

I believe that the Mayan Temples in Cozumel would be fun too explore!

We’ve done the stingray feeding/swimming at Castaway Cay and that was quite fun. We’ve done the glass bottom boat and that is good, particularly if it is cold or someone in your party doesn’t want to snorkel. Snorkeling on Castaway is fun also. There are some others that we have done, but I’ll have to write more later. :D

                              What about you?
