Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is back for 2008. Dates are in both September and October and it is at the Magic Kingon from 7pm to midnight on the nights it occurs.

It is so much fun. My family went a few years ago and we all loved it, even the 4 year old who was with us. It was not too scary but lots of fun! I suggest wearing your costumes around the parks in the evening, it gets way too hot in the day.

It seemed to me that today was the first hint of fall in Florida, so perhaps by October it won’t be too hot even during the day! I will say that two weeks ago in Orlando, it was actually quite pleasant during the day at both the Magic Kingdom and at Animal Kingdom.

It is a lot of fun and the cruise is great during Halloween as well. I recommend getting reservations at the restaurants you would like to dine (chef Mickey’s, Crystal Palace) early because this tends to be a busy time and it is very difficult just to walk up and expect to have a table within 20 minutes. Call Disney Dining up to 3 months before your scheduled time. Don’t worry about being scared, it is all g-rated entertainment.
