Names of the Disney Ships

The current two Disney ships are, of course, the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder. In 2011 and 2012 two new ships will be added to Disney Cruise Line as was announced February 22, 2007.

As the ships get closer to being completed, we’ve been speculating on the names of the ships.

Some possibilities are listed below. What are your thoughts? Let us know!
1. Disney Dream (or a variation such as Disney Dreams/Dreamer/Dreaming)
2. Disney Journey (Journeys)
3. Disney Imagination
4. Disney Enchantment, this continues in the Wonder/Magic theme, but doesn’t flow as well for me.
5. Disney Wishes

Names that we consider unlikely:
1. Marvel
2. Pleasure
3. Beauty
4. Celebration – this is too close to other ship’s names, but if that is ignored, it is a strong contender
5. Ditto for Fantasy
6. Ditto for Princess (e.g. Princess Cruise lines)
7. Ditto for Majesty
