Re: Is there such a thing as an after life, the soul and gho
MauEvig, the 'Unmoved Mover" philosophy is in reference to how complicated that life is, and that it couldn't have happened by accident. If you were to put all the parts needed to build a car into a catapult, launch them all up into the air, what are the chances that each and every part will f...

When I talk in terms of North, South, East and West, I am thinking entirely of location, not culture. Those 11 states you mentioned that joined the confederacy are what I and others refer to as the "Deep South," or the "Old South."

That sounds very interesting about the middle ages, Murf. I know that a lot of the horror icons that I grew up knowing and loving are tooted in that era of History that you mentioned. I would love visit England, too as well as Transylvania and France. As for the existence of Aliens, I do believe th...

Re: For all you werewolves... it's Moon May!
A very interesting video in deed. The moon is actually big enough to be a planet in and of its self. In fact, Neil Armstrong was stated to be the very first human being to set foot on another planet, so the moon is indeed, a planet.

I don't know about a zombie apocalypse, but in the wrong hands that technology could be very dangerous. A pandemic could even be the result.

Re: Swedish Easter Wizard?
It was swamp land. Washington DC is located on the Potomac River. The reason why Washington DC was build is because of the potential for a conflict of interest if the nation's capitol were to be located within the boundaries of a specific state. To a large plot of land was taken over by the federal...

There use to be a store in Joliet where you could buy pheasant, rabbit, rattle snake, venison and various other types of game meats. They even packed venison into sausage.
They're no longer in business. Too bad. I love pheasant.

I think a faster space ship will be needed to take a trip to Europa. As for life there, who knows? NASA also discovered a planet out in the galaxy that is in what they call the "Goldie Lox" zone, which means that temperature wise, it very could be suitable for life. Mike

Actually, St. Thomas Aquinas' philosophy of the "Unmoved Mover" does incorporate reason in his belief in there being a creator. Also, if you want to look at it from a scientific view point, our earth is in exactly the right position in relation to the sun. If it was only 1 mile closer it ...

WOW! That is creepy. The Black Plague claimed a lot of lives, and I guess vampirism was the only explanation that the people of the time understood.

I agree. It was a crying shame, because some of those models are selling for over 2000 bucks.

With or without the mirror, I would probably have taken at least 5 pieces of candy, depending on what it was.
