Lol! I think it was very common in the Bible Belt to shove Sunday Halloweens off to Saturday. I grew up with that in Mississippi. Even during my kids' childhood, it was common to encounter folks of an evangelical bent who were extremely uncomfortable with the whole thing. Churches around here ...

So glad your family liked the bread. Most people do.

We have a neice who's allergic to nuts, so we got into the habit of leaving them out. Also my own daughter didn't like them as a child, though she'll eat them now. The bread is good either way.
