A Yahoo news story, some states are cracking down on registered s-e-x offenders on Halloween when kids are out enmass on the streets. Some states have mailed out signs saying "No Candy" to display along with telling them about their decorations and lights must be off that night. So NOW which house will be the scariest one? You got it! The house all dark with the "No Candy" sign!
We know who lives there! Yikes!

I'm glad they're being pro-active about it.

You bring up a great point, God I hadn't even though of this! I wonder how they'll go about ensuring that all <deleted> offenders get one of those "No candy" signs. Here in California I know they already have a problem, with A LOT of <deleted> offenders not being registered in our state's database.

Ooops! Sorry I didn't realize that other database wasn't free. I think this one might be free, and plus it provides information for all 50 states.

At least kids will know not to go there.

"Honey, remember, the house with the NO CANDY sign means you could get snatched. Don't go there!"

LOL! But they might anyways. Some kids won't listen no matter what you tell them!

The one house on Halloween more scary than a haunted house is a child molesters house!

Well, I think they should be embarrassed! I think that they should have worse things happen to them than that! They should all be moved to their own little island and then bomb it, then we wouldn't have that problem.

Actually, not all s-e-x offenders are rapists and molesters. Some are people that had s-e-x with someone, for example 17, when they were 18 and the 17 year old's parents pressed charges.

I used to date a 14 year old girl when I was 18. When she talked to her mom about me and my age, then her mom got very upset for almost a week... later on, when she (her mom) wanted to meet me and see what I look like. She changed her mind to let her daughter to go with me. :D But.... her mom refused to tell her dad, or else he will file a report against me.

I'm talking about the nasty perverts who prey on little girls, child molestors, kidnappers, killers. I'm not talking about two young people consenting together and it's not a matter of rape or molestation. Sorry if I generalized it, I just get serious about these types of things. I'm a mother of four kids and I would do very bad things to someone if they touched any of my children. I'm very protective and never let them out of my sight except when they are in school and I drop them off and pick them up every day from school. I never let them go off on their own to play, they stay within my sight or I go with them if they want to play. I have to know the parents if they want to go to a friend's house. I try to give them a little bit of freedom but I see so many bad things happening to kids and it scares me to death. I would die if anything happened to any of my kids.
