I love potato chip sandwiches, and I plan on serving them at my party, but I'm not sure what to call them...

I've never heard of potato chip sandwiches! What else is in the sandwich? Do you use regular bread?

LawP: No, you just use potato chips. And white bread works best.
You butter 2 slices of bread, put a handful of potato chips on one side then put the other side on top of it.

I agree with magickbean, ooga booga, the flaky skin title sounds completely disgusting and therefore perfect for a Halloween gathering! :D

Actually, I too have heard of these sandwiches, only around here we use peanut butter instead of regular butter and sour cream chips are the favorite. Hey, gotta get creative to make those groceries stretch, eh?

I voted for flakey skin as well. Sounds super nasty!

LawP - I totally agree with you. PB & B is the best

Flaky skin, definitely.

And didn't Elvis used to eat PB & B sandwiches, but toasted like a grilled cheese sandwich??

With all the crunch of the chips, what about toasted flaky skin.

The only kind of potato chip sandwich I ever had...was: white bread, bbq chips and mustard.

It tastes like a crunchy bbqed ham sandwich.
