I bought a small pumpkin a few weeks ago, and did some experimental carving on it, and tried toasting the seeds. I went on to allrecipes.com and just put in "pumpkin seeds" and then combined a few different recipes to get what I wanted. Mine ended up a little bit browner than what I'd hoped, and a little bit tough and stringy, but everyone said they tasted really good. Are they supposed to be tough to chew? After each mouthful there were bits of shell and stuff that I had to spit out (gross, I know) and I don't remember that from childhood, did I do something wrong?

I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

BTW, HH, how many seeds do you get out of one of your pumpkins anyway, couple or a few thousand maybe?
Hey Tony, check out page 12 of the Halloween.com Members' Photo thread and tell me how many cookie sheets HH would need for his seeds, though.
