Agreed. Halloween is for vampires, werewolves, witches, ghosts and all the other Goblins, and long-legged beasties, and things that go bump in the night.

Well, Halloween is about scary, and can't we all agree that our national politics are all kinds of scary??? Right?!? We ALL agree on that, don't we?!?

Politicians are scarier than anything (real or not) related to Halloween. Vampires just want blood. Politicians want your soul too.

I'm sure agree that 21st century politics and politicians are scary, but scary politicians not withstanding, I don't want to see or hear ANYTHING REMOTELY RELATED to the election on October 31st. All I want to see is jack o'lanterns, and other scary things, and all I want to hear is my music, and maybe watch a few scary movies in the company of friends at my party. Barbecue will also be served.
