If you look to the left in the bottom photo you can see my building, a tan 60s brutalist concrete bunker.
I can see the bridge from the stairwell on hhe end, and probably from my patio when the tree loses its leaves this winter.

Hippieluvn, I remember when you used to post from New Orleans. I've been in NYC a couple of times in my life. If I had the money for it, I could imagine enjoying life there.
Love your pics, too, Andy. Are there any legends of haunting associated with that bridge?

Not that I've heard, but I've only been here since July.

Same here.
I miss the days when the History Channel showed programs about...history.

We have a channel around here called Story that shows old History Channel docs. They are organized thematically by the day of the week. Mondays are military history, Tuesdays historic tech, Wednesdays world history, Thursdays American History, Fridays modern marvels, Saturdays mysteries and the unknown (it was ghost hunters last Sat), Sundays biography. I used to think Story was a local thing, but I think my son has it in Chicago, too.

I just realized last night that I've neglected to pull out my three Halloween musicals I watch every October, Sweeney Todd, Into the Woods, and Phantom of the Opera (I have dvds of the stage musicals of Sweeney and Phantom, which I prefer to the film versions). I guess I'll keep my own Halloween marathon going throughout Hallowmas this weekend.
