I'm no huge fan of cold weather or scraping frost of windshields either, but it is February, and it's been a pretty mild Winter so far, at least for me. Last around this time, we had a HUGE blizzard, and I had bo borrow a neighbor's snow blower just to get my car released from the huge snow drift that it was burried under. We also had a MAJOR cold snap, too. It was like 3 or 4 below zero for 6 days in a row. My heating bill for Jan and Fed of 2011 were my biggest ever. This year it was not so bad. However, the Winder doldrums of January and Feburary have set in hard, and I can't wait til it's March. I really want to get that Harley out of the garage and cruis down that road, preferably on a 'haunted road trip.' January and February are my worst months of the year for boredom.

Mike do you do any winter sports like snowmobile ride, ice fish, or ski? I love winters for all those things and it make it better for mental to have activities to play. I also will do winter camping trip where I only sleep outside in a sleeping bag, no tent or shelter.

My husband and boys have been very active in Boy Scouts for years. They do the winter camping trips, regardless of the weather. However, they do use tents.

I use natural element for shelter where I will sleep under rock overhangs on high ground to stay dry and away from wind.

No, Chang, I don't have a snow mobile, or a pair of skis, but there were plenty of people out there. I was thinking about a snow mobile at some point, and I may get into it when my finances are a little more stable. But right now, it's a no go.

Yep! 258 days to the 'big day,' and even less days before I can start riding my Harley again. Spring officialy begins next month.

Thank goodness for that. It won't be long until we are in April which means that we will soon be halfway there! I gotta start getting ready...
