That's why I like the mom & pop store we have here, Halloween World South. They have new stuff every year and most of their stock is different then the chain stores. Party City, if there's one near you, also tends to have different stuff.
yeah we have Party City, they have some different stuff but not really.
There is a store there in S.Cal called Halloween Club, I havent been there for years and years, but they are/were a year-round store and they had some really awesome stuff there, higher end props and decorations, but I dont know what they have now days, havent been there in over 13yrs

Halloween Club just moved into a new building. I had quite a start when I saw the old building was empty while driving to LA. Saw the new place when we were coming back. Couldn't stop because I was with non-Halloweiner friends. Curious to see what's changed.
Morticia lives up there. How about a report? I think it was just north of the old location in Santa Fe Springs, definitely on the other side of the freeway (5).

I'm a little disappointed, because my local grocery store is keeping the pumpkins in cold storage for the time being, but the Halloween candy is stocked, and my drug store is pretty much going all out with the decorations.
My nephew called last night to confirm that he and his kids will be over for Halloween ToT. He's finaly gotten rid of that dog aweful New Lenox condo, and will soon be moving into a house in Joliet, but the little ones really love my 100 plus year old house. I thought I would have a weenie roast in the living room.

Murf, I think ToT at my house is going to be their main Halloween tradition, as the kids really love my old house, and they think it's great to roast weenies in the fire place.
Yesterday, they FINALY started displaying some pumpkins at my local grocery store. I think it's still a tad early for carving jack o'lanterns, but it's a sign of the comming season, and it gets me excited.

I picked up some candy corn candles at Rite Aid Pharmacy today. Only problem is they're the chocolate candy corn and they smell like chocolate when you burn them. I liked the vanilla ones from last year way more. I'll check back next month.

A lot of the Halloween candy is out already, and this year my local grocery store is making an entirely different display for Halloween candy, including BRACHS karmels. They have 4 shelvs of Affy Tapples, and Affy Tapple brand karmel corn, too.

I saw Blockbuster had a poster for Spooky Snack Packs on their window. They're getting in the spirit.

You all still have Blockbusters? Ours closed over a decade ago, I believe.
Our Kroger stores are in full-on Halloween mode now.

Believe it or not, I was watching Investigative Discovery this morning before I left for work, and they actualy had a Halloween tv comercial. Can you believe it??? A Halloween comercial and it's only the 12th of September. Perhaps the Halloween Bug is catching on.

Our company had a board meeting yesterday and they usually have cookies for a snack.
Inexplicably these were served.
