My birthday falls in October and we frequently had Halloween themed parties when I was younger. Now that I have a son born in October as well, I get to pass along the tradition.
I hope the following is of value to the readers here. The company I work for makes
Halloween Cards which are customizable as birthday party invitations. I already have mine planned:)

My birthday is October 26, and I don't remember ever having a Halloween/Birthday party, but I am having one this year for my 25th birthday... especially since my birthday falls on a weekend. I am having mine the day before my birthday... and the weekend before Halloween.

OMG you are so lucky! Sometimes my birthday lands on Mothers Day. My birthday is also on my my great grandmothers birthday.

My oldest and best friend was born at 12:03 am on November 1st, just 3 minutes after Halloween ended. I allways rib him about it, and accuse him of actualy being born on Halloween.
