Andy, my favorite is the first pic you posted.

The entire structure burned to the ground. Its now rebuilt as Clinton Community College.
This is a really creepy place. The back side of the building drops off 100Ft. to a lake.

Here's a similar one from a couple of nights ago.

It reminds me of when the UFO's arrived at the beginning of Independance Day.

Interesting photo. Reminds me of Hogwarts from Harry Potter for some weird reason.

I love crazy Victorian structures like that.

The Winchester Mystery House is close to home and has a great, spooky vibe to it.

I lived 2 blocks from an overpass for years and I would pretend it was the sound of a roaring river. That helped.

This candle was burned too long and had a melt down. Luckily it was on a large dish so I didn't have to scrape it up.

There is a website I go to called www.opacity.us All the pics are so spooky! I would LOVE to go to one of those places where the ghosts are for real! I have no doubt that all of these places are haunted. Check out the pics and you'll see what I mean, the photography is awesome!

I see hints and whispers of Halloween most of the time. Here in the midwest, it's usually very easy to get the feel of the season, even in summer or winter. The only exceptions are when there is snow on the ground or when it's ninety degrees out and people are walking around in shorts. In just over two months, Halloween decorations will begin showing up in stores here in southern Indiana. That usually starts a few weeks after the 4th of July. I'm already itching to open up the boxes of Halloween stuff I got after the season last year. You can't beat eighty percent discounts.

If I didn't have to worry about paying attention to my driving when I'm going down a street...I could have sworn someone had one of those pumpkin bags that you can fill with leaves on their front steps in a nearby town.
Also, in my town someone has this flag waving in the wind and from a distance I keep thinking it's got a pumpkin on it...but when I get up close...it's just a bee hive on a flag with bees. Shucks.
I also have to wonder if my house is haunted. I get creeped out each night when the lights go out, and being such an old house...I can't help but look over my shoulder a few times to make sure I'm not being stalked by a ghost or something. Often times however, it's just a light shining from the street, and sometimes it shines through my blinds making this eerie light. *shudders*
