I would say it's more Poe-influenced than a "rip-off." I'm pretty sure the story about the man who is immured is "A Cask of Amontillado." Haven't read it in years, but I believe it's set during the Carnival, everyone in masks, and one man lures another one into his wine cellar to see a cask of this rare wine. For some reason the guy who does the luring wants the other one dead, and he ends up walling him up. I don't think he hears voices, though.
Actually, I enjoyed your macabre little poem/story. It set a mood.
