country music....

uh... does anyone listen to Alabama? greatest country group ever in my own opinion

I do like Alabama. I have them in my car for road trips.

First love is rock. But I do like country.

I love bluegrass and fiddle playing in general, but I loathe country music. There are a few songs and a few artists who are narrowly excepted, but for the most part, UGGHH.

That had some good music in it.

It isn't my favorite of the Coen Brothers' movies, but I did enjoy the music and the supporting cast. George Clooney's acting was distracting, and quite detrimental to the movie overall.

Yes the whole cast was excellent. But I don't think Clooney was a detriment. I loved how he carried off that role. He cracked me up with his worries over his hair.

i agree. i liked clooney in that one! i liked the movie in general.

and mac i'm a blue grass fan as well! down here during the "Cotton Pick'n Festival" there are TONS of great blue grass artists who come and perform

Yeah, I don't know. I think they probably could have cast about a hundred different actors who would have done a better job. There's just something about his acting style that's too.... Clooney. Like, no matter what role he's playing, you can't forget he's Clooney. A good actor disappears into the role.

You do have a point in that, Mac. I am just a die-hard fan of his.
But I also love Jack Nicholson, and he does disappear into his roles.
