I totally miss-spoke on my post
I love Zots, but I would have expected them to be on that list as most people either have never heard of them, or dont like them.....I love em tho....
but I hate dots, or any other kind of gummy candy, I hate the way they get stuck in my teeth

Remembering my disappointment at finding lots of gum, jawbreakers, and other hard candy I really try to get a big assortment of different good quality chocolate with a few non-chocolate varieties as back-up for kids that can't eat or don't like chocolate.
My girls actually love it when someone hands out change instead of candy and one year when they knocked on the door of the guy that most of the kids in the neighborhood avoided because he had a reputation of being "mean", he actually pulled out his wallet, mumbled that he hadn't realized it was Halloween - they were the first kid to knock on his door (it was @ 9), told them he liked their costumes and handed them each a $5 bill.

I dislike jawbreakers b/c some killed small children in the throat!

I wish some company would have to stop making jawbreakers!
By the way, have anyone seen the movie called "Jawbreakers" before, I believe it was in 1999?

Sheesh! Candy corn is the one true Halloween candy. I put out candy bowls full of candy corn and M&Ms every October for my roommate and I and friends who stop by. Seems it's the candy corn bowl I fill up most often.

I use to love those wax candies that had a sweel liquid inside them, but we never got them for ToT. They weren't even in the stores where I'm from during the Fall. They were allways a Spring time and Summer time treat where I come from.
Generic peanutbutter toffy??? YUCK!!! I rememer that, and even my dog didn't like it.

I really didn't even like that peanut butter toffy, either!

I totaly agree with you iHaunt. That generic peanut butter toffy is the nastiest thing ever to enter my ToT bag, but not quite as bad as licorise. Then again, I could at least give the locirice to my dad. The peanut butter toffy, I couldn't even give to the family dog.

There are soe cofee flavored candies that I like. They are hard candies, like butter scotch or English Toffy, but I can't remember the brand for the life of me.

I think anyone who likes coffee might enjoy coffee-flavored candy, but as a child, I disliked that strange taste.

There are a lot of candies like that. Adults like them, but children don't. Cordials are that way. My mom loved her cordials. I would buy her a box every Christmas, Easter, her Birthday and for hers and my dad's wedding anniversary. I HATED them, because they had liquor in them. Neither of my parents were too big on alcoholic beverages, but my mom did love those cordials.

mmmmm, I like those peanut butter taffy things with the mushy peanut butter in the center, my sister would give me those when she got them. I'm with Mike on the licorice thing, I hate black licorice and black jelly beans, bleh
