We don't have designated hours, but around here, it starts around dusk (maybe 5:30, 6 pm, and generally goes until 8 or 8:30. Downtown, on Main Street, where wealthy people decorate their homes fantastically, TOT often lasts until 9 or 9:30.

I think this year we got our last TOTers around 8:15.

I got probably 73% of my total visitors in the first 1 hour. It was slow once it got complete darkness.

Oh, around here, people wait for the dark. It is rare to get a TOTer in twilight.

GROAN!!

It would be fun to go trick-or-treating on July 13th. Imagine the reactions.

I think the reaction would not be a positive one, but Friday the 13th, in any month is definately a great day for "Little Halloween." Speaking of which, "Little Halloween" is THIS COMMING FRIDAY, and I don't have to work that day. So I am going to really get into the spirit of it.

Hey, speaking of jokes, what's the hardest part of shooting tourists?

They allways struggle with you while you're trying to stuff them into the cannon.

Good one Mike. Personally, I want to know why do they call it tourist season if you're not allowed to shoot them? And it's definitely tourist season. I had to drop someone off at the airport tonight and the place was bonkers. All the people coming in for Comic-Con.

I'm trying to talk my friends into going downtown Friday night instead of Saturday because that's when they are doing the annual Comic-Con zombie walk. Great idea having the event on a Friday the 13th. The Haunted Hotel will be open also. We could definitely make it a 'Little Halloween'.

NeverMore, you hit the nail right on the head as to why I don't want to live in a big city. The crowds, especialy when they have some shin-digs going on. The place goes crazy, and the traffic movies at a crawl at best. I do love visiting big cities, though, and I would love to try out your trollies in San Diego if I could ever swing it.

Oh... the trolley is a hoot! When we were riding back to the car, my 13 year old niece from small town Ohio turned around just in time to see some drooling drunk guy getting on the trolley. Someone must have stole his belt and underwear because just as he got face to butt with her his pants fell down. THAT? was the highlight of her visit? At least that's all she talked about. I don't get teenagers.
