That sounds good, but I think I'll go with a Salmon steak and mashed turnips on the 25th.

Tomorrow night I'm going to have a weenie roast in the fire place for my dinner while I watch various movies for "Little Halloween."

I don't. I have MediaCom, but I prefer to run DVDs, anyway. No comercials, and I can pause the movie.

There is no commercial and you can pause ON DEMAND movies also. It is much like watching DVD for sure.

I understand all that Spooky and Chang. All cable and satlite systems come with some sort of "on demand" system and the like, but I'm use to running DVDs. So I am going to stick with DVDs for the moment. Besides, "on demand" doesn't do you one bit of good of the cable system goes down, which happens frequently in my neck of the woods, ESPECIALY when it's snowing like it is right now.

With a DVD, I don't have to contend with cable black outs.

Last night it took me 3 and a half hours to get home from work. When I got home, my Cable tv, internet and phone were all down until about 5 this morning. It's a good thing the Netflix arrived in the mail on Wednesday.

Did you watch a horror movies?

Yes, Chang, I did watch a horror movie, but I saved the best of them for "Little Halloween." I was originaly planning on going to my local theatre to see "The Devil Inside" on Friday, but I decided against it because the weather got threatening. I went straight home, put out one of my plastic jack o'lanterns and started a fire in my fire place. Then I put on the original 1930s version of "Dracula," and t hen roasted myself a hot dog. Then I put on the original "The Haunting" and roasted another hot dog, and after that, I ended my "Little Halloween" observance with the oriwinal "Friday the 13th,."

I did end up seeing "The Devil Within" on Saturday the 14th, but as I said in another thread, it wasn't worth the powder to blow it up. It was a complete boredom fest. Slow moving, poorly done, too dark, and a total sleeper in general.
