Must be nice. You can ride a motorcycle year round, except when it's raining, of course. That's what I would be doing. The ground here is as hard as a rock, and it isn't likely to thaw out any time soon.

It is too cold to snow here. It will be -4 tonight with wind chill of -20. Coldest weather we have all year so far.

That's another thing Mike, like it says in the song, it almost never rains in Southern California. We might get a total of 2 weeks of rain throughout the year, even when we're not in drought conditions.
It's not unusual to see people riding their bikes even when it is raining. Dangerous thing to do. You always hear about all the accidents when it does rain here? That's because the oils from the vehicles build up on the roads and when it rains... well... oil and water don't mix and the roads get very slick. Experienced bikers will wait under an overpass for an hour or so and wait for the oils to wash off.

I know what you mean. That grease strip right in the middle of the road is the worst, too. I found that out the hard way on my 750 Secca back in the early 90s. I slid right through a red light. Luckily there was no traffic comming.

So am I, Witchy! And I have a cold, so I am sneezing as I do it. I am taking a break now.
My husband and I are going out to eat tonight (sans kids, who will have a fast-food supper at home). Later on I intend to dip strawberries into chocolate for all of us as a Valentine's treat.
