I'm happy because Keplar has discovered two more planets orbiting binary stars, one of which is in the habitable zone. Increases the chances that I may someday get to live on a planet with two suns, like Luke Skywalker's. Now I just need some droids and a princess in a bikini.

The 3 day WEEKEND makes me very happy!! I get to go Halloween shopping with my hubby, can't wait!!!

Got an unscheduled day off. Just had to go look at a job that starts on Monday and since it was at the beach I took along a pair of shorts. Did some body surfing then went over to the Cass Street Bar and Grill and got an oriental chicken salad for lunch. Mmmm, mmmm good. Oh, then I stopped at Target, Big Lots and Costco on the way home. Both Big Lots and Costco had a bunch of 'that other holiday' stuff out so I refused to buy anything from them. In fact, Costco didn't have any Halloween stuff on display at all. I am soooo going to celebrate Creepmas this year!

this is my friday, meaning I have the next two days off, not a normal thing, just worked out (but I dont like having the weekends off) but I do like it when I dont have to go to work "tomorrow"

I spent this very hot day at the beach, mostly in the water. Stopped by and watched the thunder boat races for a couple hours, then I went to the Padres game where they were honoring our broadcast guy Jerry Coleman. You older Yankee fans should know who that is. They gave him a statue! Stopped at Chilis for a couple beers on the way home and ran into some friends, now I'm hanging out in my most favoritist forum on the web. Thinking of breaking into the pint of Haagen Dazs Vanilla Swiss Almond I have in the freezer. I'd say that's a nice way to wrap up the summer? Bring on the fall!!!!

By the way I would never turn Andy into a Toad, maybe a wealthy, good looking (not that he isn't), man of mystery, maybe, but not a toad.
