They do not allow them at all now. Some rules are really over the top!! Just drawing a picture of a cigarette is not allowed. And remember that article about the kid dressed as a firefighter who got suspended from school for bringing a toy axe to school with him for his costume? (SO stupid!!) I read an article about this in Readers Digest. I kid got suspended when he was cought with a pair of NAIL CLIPPERS and they considered them a weapon!! And some kids were brought to a POLICE STATION for making 'terrorist threats' with PAPER GUNS!!

I'm telling you! Schools have gone crazy!! They worry about kids with weapons after some school shootings but then they suspend innocent kids with normal everyday objects. Completely crazy!!

Yup. I know that rules are always changing every year and it was not like this way the same when I was in H.S.! Well, I, myself, and some friends of mine got suspended a few times for getting into some serious troubles! Well, I stopped getting into troubles when I was Senior and graduated there in 1995. I believe in 1998, they added a new rule "NO SMOKING ALLOWED ON SCHOOL CAMPUS!" Well, some students were so frustrated wanting to smoke cigaretters, some wanted to dip a snuff, you know? Well, they have to wait and be patient until after the school hour is over and they have to rush back home and lit the cigarette to satisfy them! Hee hee!

I can't wait till summer ends here, it is sooooo HOT! Like 110 degrees hot, it has been cooling down though. I'm in Las Vegas. School started on Monday the 25th, yayyyyyy! I don't know what they will be having at Frightdome this year, last year was awesome! I would love to go somewhere that is really, truly scary like an abondoned hospital or prison! ((shivers))

The rules every year on new years gets dumber and dumber. Eh its people that get dumber everyday.

Hey! How cool does it get in LV, then? I know it's super-hot in the summer. We're hot here too in SoCal...never below the 90s until at least mid to late September, and then it might only be the occasional day. It takes until the end of October to get out of the 80s at all.

However it does sometimes rain in sept and i remember that last year.

BUT - It's still hot out here in VA!!! Well, I am not worrying about it because I know October will be cooler around 70s during the daytime and around 60s during the night!
