I also ahve to go with Freddy. Not only does Freddy have more character, but the story's more interesting to boot. I do like the Michael Myers story, and Iloved the requel they did on him, but hands down, Freey is much more of a character.
Okay, now for my question.
Michael or Churky?

Chucky; he's a living doll (sorry, Elvira!)
Chucky or the Bride of Chucky?

The Bride of Chucky. I have a soft spot for girls, even ones that are made of plastic.
Howling Wolves or Thunder & Lightning?

Thunder & Lightening for sure. I also enjoy earthquakes (live in California).
Nothing beats nature in all of her fury!
Howling wolves, like the coyotes around here, only make me think "Man, I hope they don't leave the carcass on the driveway again!"
Crashing waves on the seashore or torrential rain?

If I lived near the ocean it might be another story, but since I live in Illinois, I am going to go with Torrential Rain.
How about a GREAT 'haunted house' story, or an equaly GREAT vampire story?

Haunted houses and stories about them are my favorites!!
How about alien abduction vs. spirit possession?

I enjoy stories about Aliens as much as anyone. When ever a "Star Trek" movie is out at the theatre, I make a bea line to see it. HOWEVER, Halloween, for me is a time for CLASSIC horrot stories and spooky ghosts, vampires, wearwolvs and the like, so I am going to go with Spirit Possession for Halloween.
Okay, here's my question. Headless Horsemand on a Horse or Headless Horseman on a motorcycle?

Since that particular episode of the original Kolchak scared the be-jeezuz out of me, I'll go with motorcycle.
Even now, as a reasonable and rational adult, if I'm out at night on an empty street and hear a motorcycle, I get a chill.
quick and painless or slow and tortuous death?

I'll go with quick and Painless. I don't take to well to pain. I realise that's a bit whimpy of me, but that's how it is. However, if you are talking entertainment only, then I'll go with slow and torturous.
Alright here's my question. For Halloween Entertainment only:
Gnawed to death by rats or stung to death by poisenous scorpions?

Death by scorpions! Better to be sick and unconsious than to feel each bite.

No choice for me. Pumpkins!!! I think a dozen lit pumpkins is much creepier. You can still have variety too!
Full moon or new moon?

Definately a full moon. The light sort of adds an extra spookieness to the whole Halloween sceen. And I titaly agree. Pumpkins are the way to go if you can only put up one kind of Halloween decoration.
