My bday is in Aug. too, are you a Leo? I lived thru the 80's but I was a kid. I still wore legwarmers and L.A Gears though! Oh and the bangs and sides of the hair were hairsprayed up to look like wings, oh yes I remember

I thought I was soooooooo cool and laid back...I look at pics of myself and just laugh and shrug my shoulders...a lot of booze and youthful hormones were in play hee hee LOL.

But I had a blast...I wouldn't change it...I had a lot of fun back then.

I wish I could go back to when I was 17-21, those were the best years of my life.

Me too...had a great core group of friends and we did everything together and got into trouble as a group but also had each others backs and had a lot of fun. I miss those days a lot. One of my best buds is gone and several others have moved away or are married with kids so I don't get to see them that often...

I still talk to one of my friends from back in the day but she lives in Cali still. Another one passed away and all the others I don't know what happened to them. Sometimes I daydream and pretend that I'm there still. It was so fun going to concerts, the mall, and running around the town getting into trouble together. Ahhhh those were the days....... 8)

But yeah, I bet you hold your own quite well now...probably moreso now. You are a mother and wife as well...

Yes, I can have quite a temper sometimes but that's if I'm pushed to that point. I don't get angry over small, stupid things but I will kick someone's arse if they mess with me too much. I just want people to know that I'm not a push-over and when I don't like something, I don't like it and can't tell me otherwise. My husband and I don't get along very well because I don't agree with him on a lot of topics and I won't change so he's screwed. I will be the most loving and caring person until I'm crossed. You seem pretty well rounded unlike myself.

I have to deal with a lot of women like yourself with a hot temper and I have learned through many brutal attempts to navigate those waters carefully ;) I am very laid back and even keeled but like you, if you back me into a corner I am like a Raccoon coming out...it akes a LOT to get me there but if it happens it usually ends up bad...I hate that and hope I never get pushed into that place...

EXACTLY it's like you have to do what you have to do, even if it means that you have to hurt someone to do it and believe me I try to avoid that at all costs but it has happened and I don't regret it.

I regret that it comes to that ever...and that someone could push my buttons that much...usually your spouse knows execatly how to push those buttons and they do it on purpose which makes it more frustrating and hurtful.

Oh yeah, I know all too well. I try to just leave the room when he says something hurtful. Sometimes I can't. I end up saying some horrible, awful nasty things to him and he ends up getting hurt worse than I did. I don't like to do those things, I think that we disagree on too many things and that is not good for a relationship. Also, he's an alcoholic so that makes it way worse, that is why I don't drink because I see the stupid things he does and I don't want to do the same. I just want our life to be good for the kids and I try my best not to say bad things in front of them.
