It's 98 degrees right now, gonna get down to 68 tonight. It'll be back up to 102 tomorrow.
I'm starting to lose the Halloween spirit...

sounds absolutely beautiful! We are in for a couple of hot days this week, then a much cooler mid to low eighties streak. Not as nice as your forecast but I'm still happy about it

I only like the temperature around 60s or 70s, not over 80s.
My body is too hot for the heat and humid!

It's supposed to get to 86 here today, and 91 tomorrow.
But then, into the low 60's for the high the rest of the week! Yaaay come on Fall!!

I associate this weather with grilling and hangin' by the pool. Halloween doesn't fit with that.

A lot of politician types hint around that severe weather is somebody's wrath for bad behavior of various kinds.

When this thread was opened, it was August the 30th. Now October 1st is only a week from next Saturday. That means that there's less then 2 weeks before the Halloween season begins. My decorations will be going up probably next Wednesday, and my first jack o'lantern will be carved some time Saturday the 1st or Sunday the 2nd.

Mike, I think I am only going to carve 2 small pumpkins on Sept 30th then put them out on porch to lit them on Oct 1st till they turn rotten and throw them away. I will buy about 3 or 4 large or extra large pumpkins to carve again before Halloween.
