My goodness, Mike. Perhaps you should move down south. We have pretty mild winters (no snow shoveling here :D ). There are some bitterly cold snaps but then it goes back to being livable. Plus you could probably ride your motorcycle year round... We could always use another Pumpkinhead around here!

I'm always in Halloween mode but as soon as I start to see the first store decor, it really hits me!

I usually like to leave the pumpkin-flavored goodies to the fall months to keep them special. But they had pumpkin spice coffee at the gas station this morning and I couldn't resist. And wow, it tastes like an October morning. I'll have to remember this for those down days.

Almost June.

Have a great day.

I usually start to feel the Halloween mood right around this time, July/August. :)

Me, too. I tried to hold off this year, but my husband pulled out the Halloween movies, and I was off to the races.

I have had that problem where I have started celebrating too early and by the time halloween came around I was done with it. I have learned my pace and how to make it last.

I've had this out for a month or so, artificial Japanese maple an red oak.

Back lit through the blinds.

woke up this morning to dark cloudy skies, light misty rain, and temps around 60. If that doesn't get me in the Halloween spirit, nothing will! (and, as I'm logged onto this site, I suppose it worked!)

Say a word out loud until it loses meaning.
