wow Jack that wolf is great. I was looking forward to getting a bunch of new stuff this year but I just got let go from my job so now Halloween decorations are out of budget

Sorry to hear that DD. Welcome to my world. I hope you have better luck than I have had finding another job. I can't even get interviews for jobs in which I have more than ten years experience.

Thanks Boogey I had been there for a little over 7 years. I had some good friends there but there were some lame politics going on. My hope is to get a better paying job a little closer. In the meantime budgets for everything are shrinking drastically.

I was at my job a month shy of 16 years. You don't have to talk budgets with me as I have gone through $4500 of my savings the last few months even on unemployment. There are simply things I don't do anymore, like going to the movies or renting them. I found a site where I can watch them for free, even ones that are still in the theater. I only drive somewhere when I really need to, like to visit family, groceries and Weight Watchers, and of course the rare interview. I have to fill up my gas tank every three to three and half weeks. I didn't go out to eat very much before because of the cost and the health reasons, I don't do it at all now. If I ever do get a job, the only thing that would change is filling my gas tank more often.

Wow, DD, I'm really sorry to hear that. I hope you find a new one soon. I will say the new werewolf took quite a bite out of my Halloween budget this year. Fortunately, they let me make payments.

Everybody I know is hurting. I see these commercials with people buying new cars, going on long vacations and living really well. I guess those people are out there, but they're not around me.

I live in Silicon Valley, you can find them all here...but I'm not one of them.

I shall find something. Boogy you will tho keep positive.

My husband and I see the same cars and trucks on the car lots month after month, and the ads are offering all kinds of financing. I don't think people around here are able to buy.

This is a piece I actually got awhile ago. It's a nightmare and she's a character in a series of stories I'm working on. I'm getting ready to put up the Halloween stuff and was going to pack her down when my husband said, "I thought you'd just leave it out. Seems pretty Halloween to me." I'd been thinking of the piece as a character in a story (non-Halloween story) so never thought of it as a decoration. So I thought I'd post a pic here.

You do know they have drills for that right?
