I am at my busiestime of the year right now, so I won't be around too much over the next two weeks, but I'll try to look in on you all from time to time.

Primarily, I think that a lot of people don't start getting excited about Halloween until September or late August. I can't get enough of it, however.

Bad news. Next week, after my school year ends, my school is taking back computers and upgrading them. I won't be having a computer until about August. :/

You don't have a computer at home? Well that sucks.

ouch...3 months w/o a computer?

I'd call your local library and see if they offer computer time.

Most libraries I've been to give you an hour. They won't let you chat, but I never saw the harm in going on message boards.
There was one that only gave you half an hour, but I don't think they restricted you on chatting.
Fortunately I have the internet at home so it's not a problem. But ouch, all I can say is that I feel your pain, because I remember when I had to go without the internet. It really sucked because the internet is like a window into the outside world.

When I use to go to the library to use the computer, I got one hour for free, and every additional hour was a $1.50 charge.

Luckily I seldomly need to use the computer at the library any more. Sure, if I'm looking for a book or a movie, and I happen to be there and need to ceck my e-mail or something I'll log on, but I never go beyond the "free" limit any more. Besides my computer at home is more private.

One thing I will say on my library's behalf. They have an EXTNESIVE collection of movies on VHS and DVD, and I almost never have to go to a video store and pay rent for anything because of that.

Here in over priced California, our library charged $1.50 for a 3-day checkout for DVD's.
VHS are free.

*Professor Farnsworth voice* Good news, everyone! I'm getting this computer switched out for a new laptop! So I should be on over the summer. :D

(Unless, of course, they hold onto it over the summer, which I doubt.)

Worse news. The state of Ohio is beginning budget cuts, primarily for charter/homeschooling programs. Therefore, if a bill gets passed with charter schools being cut, I will not be back next year. :/

It might be a while before I'd come back.

Alright, folks. I'll be losing the computer and internet after the 12th of June. :(

I'll be online sometimes over the summer, but I won't be on like I usually do.

Unless, of course, I leech off of my neighbor's wireless. :P
