Day 2 was noticeably better than day 1. 1923, like Wish, is very crowded and close. But the service was pretty good. Everything else seemed to be smooth except that there is only half and half at the drink stations. Again, like the Wish. We have 5 more nights so no doubt it will keep improving.

Nearing the end of the first 11 night Disney Fantasy cruise, it arrived in Tortola! Yet another mid-80s day, with beautiful weather. It turned out that with the exception of the second & third nights where there were a little bit of rough seas, the weather was just about perfect for the cruise.

Flying Dutchman at Disney’s Castaway Cay
Initially the Flying Dutchman was at sea, but after the success of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, the Flying Dutchman came to Castaway Cay. The Flying Dutchman remained at Castaway Cay for a number of years, but alas it set sail again a year or two ago and it is no longer at Castaway Cay. With new Pirates of the Caribbean movies coming, will Castaway see ships from the films in the future? Time will tell! If you have the scoop, let us know in the comment section!
