InactiveHello Everyone,
I would like everyone to know that I have cruised carnival so many times, I think this will be my last. I really am upset about everything that has gone on. This is the first time that I have had so much trouble with a vacation that it isn’t funny. Just let me tell you that carnival will rip you off in a heartbeat and not even think twice about it. I had booked 2 penthouse suites one for me and my husband and the other one for my parents. I paid one off then I was told that the other one is to be paid off by June. I unfortunatley had a house fire and called carnival to explain what had happened (and you know how insurance is)I used alot of my money to get another apartment and needs that I needed for my family and myself. I was told by the carnival employess that they are sorry and they would work with me. I was under the impression that I would have till July 31 to make the final payment. To make a long story short, I called to make the final payment that morning. I was told to call back after 3 pm that day, I did and I was told that my reservation had been cancelled. They refunded me back half of what I paid and they kept the other half. Then I was told that to reactivate this reservation it would cost me 1500 more than what I am already paying. I get online to get some prices and they said they could not offer me the same price that was on the computer because that price is no longer valid. Then I was told that the prices change 4 times a day. WHAT THE HECK IS CARNIVAL DOING? I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW SOME COMPANIES TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE. I HAVE LOST SO MUCH RESPECT AND WILL NOT CRUISE CARNIVAL AGAIN. SO TO YOU CARNIVAL, IF YOU READ ANY OF THIS YOU HAVE LOST YOURSELF LOYAL CUSTOMERS DUE TO YOUR GREEDINESS. THANKS AGAIN FOR RUINING A VACATION. -
