A friend of ours was married on a cruise 20 years ago. She said she and her husband had planned a church wedding but the stress was just too much. The wedding on the cruise ship was peaceful and romantic, she recommends it for EVERYONE!!

Carnival has special wedding planners that help you plan a wedding aboard the ship. Or at a particular destination or buy something for the bride and groom to have waiting and more.

Some Carnival cruise wedding information is here:

Princess Cruises also has some similar information available for their ships with all kinds of information about it:

Disney has some great wedding packages. Of course I LOVE anything Disney but I do think you cannot go wrong with any package Disney might offer.

Ok, I took a look and it looks pretty cool. You can do the wedding on Castaway Cay or on the Magic or Wonder.

I wonder (no pun intended) if they make the bride and groom where the Mickey wedding ears? ;-)

I am curious as to where on the ship they do the ceremony? It looks from the pictures that the wedding on Castaway Cay has a great backdrop, but I can’t tell where on the ship they do it – perhaps it varies!

Will the Captain do it when you are at sea?

If you are required to wear the "wedding ears" that could be a deal breaker.

Yes, because it seems very likely that they have Captain Jack Sparrow there with a cutlass saying:
"Put the Mickey Ears on or walk the plank!" :D

All kidding aside, I have seen a number of people who had gotten married at the parks or were honeymooning aboard with the ears on. But I have also seen a good number who were not wearing them, so I think it is a safe assumption that it is up to the bride – the groom should be taking instructions by that point. :D (j/k, I am sure both the bride and groom can decide each for themselves)
