Was your wedding on a cruise? Did you propose or were you proposed to on a cruise? Give us your story. I’m sure it was romantic….
September 15, 2008 at 4:12 pm #714AnonymousInactiveA friend of ours was married on a cruise 20 years ago. She said she and her husband had planned a church wedding but the stress was just too much. The wedding on the cruise ship was peaceful and romantic, she recommends it for EVERYONE!!

Some Carnival cruise wedding information is here:

You can call them about it here:

September 15, 2008 at 4:37 pm #719AnonymousInactiveCan you tell us more about the wedding packages? Do you know anyone who did it?

I wonder (no pun intended) if they make the bride and groom where the Mickey wedding ears?
I am curious as to where on the ship they do the ceremony? It looks from the pictures that the wedding on Castaway Cay has a great backdrop, but I can’t tell where on the ship they do it – perhaps it varies!
Will the Captain do it when you are at sea?

September 15, 2008 at 4:44 pm #721AnonymousInactiveIf you are required to wear the "wedding ears" that could be a deal breaker.
September 15, 2008 at 4:52 pm #722AnonymousInactiveYes, because it seems very likely that they have Captain Jack Sparrow there with a cutlass saying:
"Put the Mickey Ears on or walk the plank!"All kidding aside, I have seen a number of people who had gotten married at the parks or were honeymooning aboard with the ears on. But I have also seen a good number who were not wearing them, so I think it is a safe assumption that it is up to the bride – the groom should be taking instructions by that point. (j/k, I am sure both the bride and groom can decide each for themselves)
