On both the Disney Wonder and Disney Magic there are Windows based computers located in the Promenade Lounge (deck 3, mid-ship on both the Disney Magic and Wonder). The Promenade is open 24 hours a day.
There is also the Cove Cafe on deck 9 for adults that offers internet access and teens can access it on Aloft (Disney Wonder) and The Stack (Disney Magic).
The access speed on both the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder is acceptable. It is not as fast as cable broadband speed, but much better than dial up. Remembering that you are aboard a ship, often at sea, means that the internet service is often pretty good.
Disney Magic internet costs
$0.75 USD per minute pay as you go
$55 USD for 100 minute plan ($0.55 per minute)
$100 USD for 250 minute plan ($0.40 per minute)
$150 USD for 500 minute plan ($0.30 per minute)
Disney Wonder internet costs
$0.75 USD per minute pay as you go
$27.50 USD for 50 minute plan ($0.55 per minute)
$40 USD for 100 minute plan ($0.40 per minute)
$75 USD for 250 minute plan ($0.30 per minute)
Printing is $0.25 per page
I have not had the opportunity to use the wireless internet access on board the Disney Magic or Disney Wonder, but will be trying it aboard the Disney Wonder in October and will write a review then.
Wireless internet is available on board the Magic and Wonder in:
Cadillac Lounge/Sessions
Wavebands/Rockin Bar D’
Promenade Lounge
Studio Sea
Cove Café
Open Decks (9 & 10)
Atrium (Decks 3, 4 and 5 Mid-Ship)
Hmmm. Do u know what kind of computers they are and if you bring your own laptop if interenet access will still be available?
