Tropical Storm/Hurricane Hannah Update

As of Saturday morning, August 30, Disney does not anticipate any changes to the August 31 voyage of the Disney Wonder or the September 1 voyage of the Disney Magic due to Tropical Storm/Hurricane Hannah.

Thanks for the update. It looks like Hurricane Gustav is too far west to impact either the Disney Wonder or the Disney Magic. Hannah will definitely be the one to watch this weekend and next week for any impact on cruise itineraries. Castaway Cay is definitely within the area of potential impact for Hannah by the middle of next week and so consequently the Magic and Wonder will be.
Hannah will bear watching this weekend and next week, and Disney will be watching them closely.
If Ike (and Josephine) form from the areas of low pressure in the Atlantic now, we’ll discuss them too.

As of this morning (September 2), Disney has not made any changes to the September 4th voyage of the Wonder.
At this time, it looks like there are no changes to the September 7 sailing of the Wonder.
The only possible threat would be Hurricane Ike depending on where Ike ends up going, but they won’t know more about that for a few days. Hopefully it won’t impact anyone’s cruises, or even worse too many people’s lives.
